The one-star reviews complain about "sparkles". I've had this TV for almost a year and the only time I've noticed sparkles is sitting about 6 inches from it.
The USB function isn't great - it only works with "Cruzer" brand USB drives - I couldn't get the USB input in the TV to work with card readers, iPods, ect. Not really a problem for me since there's so many ways to get networked music into this TV.
The picture and the sound are so good I'll give it 5 stars. Once you watch a Blu Ray movie on this TV everything else is going to look inferior - I've never seen a better TV on the market, though I guess they've started making slimmer, LED TVs for like a million dollars.Get more detail about Sony Bravia Z-Series KDL-40Z4100/S 40-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV, Silver.
