Pros: The television is very aesthetically pleasing.
Cons: At this time LG is aware of, and has been aware of, a lip sync issue with this model TV and previous models. They willingly distributed product to vendors and customers alike with full knowledge that there are conflicts with a number of cable boxes used by companies such as COMCAST but failed to mention this.
My issues with LG include knowingly shipping a defective television and poor customer service. If reliability and customer service are on your list of requirements for a television manufacturer, I suggest looking elsewhere.
I have called LG four times now. Every time I would call, they would review case details. While reviewing the case with me, they would mention the model number of the previous generation (non slimline). I would correct them only to have them essentially call me a liar and state that the TV in question does not exist.
Please research LG Lip Sync for more information.
Other Thoughts: Stay away. I have used LG products in the past and now regret doing so.Get more detail about LG 47SL80 47-Inch Seamless 240Hz 1080p LCD HDTV, Glass/Black.
